Body Awareness

Taking care of my body has always been extremely easy for me compared to how I learned others don’t.

I noticed this has to do with a certain level of awareness, degree of awareness maybe better put, about what your body is up to and what you are using and sometimes abusing it for. But let’s forget about those labels.

Let’s look at what it is you want from your body.

How should it perform? Do you have any awareness about that, a little more in depth than just “I want it to stay healthy”.

I mean, how?

Do you have the awareness of what is going on inside your body when it is NOT in pain? Because that is easy.. Isn’t it? When it is in pain we know for sure something is wrong. I aim to find and be aware of all that is going right. Healthy. Let’s expand healthy.

When the body feels fine? Can you tune in more? Zoom.. Feel cells? Feel internal vibrations? Can you feel energy flows?

Can you feel the connections with energy frequencies outside your body? Can you detect them? If so, can you also disconnect? This could be beneficial to simply to keep your body clean of frequency pollution? No matter where it comes from or what is creating it. Source could be other people or from nature or from ‘things’.

It makes choices for a healthy body easier when you notice these things. And mastering the skills with the awareness to handle foreign energies influencing your own can be a life saver, short and long term.

Personally I use specific awareness exercises to keep my body awareness up and gradually raise it while I practice that. It grows naturally in power without having to effort for a specific goal.

I teach this onboard the catamaran during the sailing retreats, whether these retreats are customized or my developed programs.

Retreats are usually customized when people are interested in the retreats but don’t really want to go all the way. They want the vacation with the wellness.

In my opinion that’s most commonly a duality because people want the cocktail picture vacation on a boat.. For a “Sail into Consciousness” sailing retreat founder and facilitator, this means they chose unconsciousness over the wellness taking them into Consciousness or vice versa, consciousness creating wellness.

Alcohol and snack food are the game spoilers. Always the same. After a few days onboard and experiencing me, my habits, chatting with me, seeing me do my thing, most guests are inspired to take a confronting look at their health and life style habits. The phantom of doing things ‘right’ falls apart.. Because life onboard is also physically demanding something different from the body (and mind btw) than the average at home and work life.

With customized retreats I don’t push this confrontation at all. It’s a spontaneous occurrence. I notice how the different guests make their subsequent choices from there on.

Hopefully it takes them on a new track at some time in their lives before it’s too late.

Being on the water and in peaceful secluded areas is super beneficial to experience this much more intense than on land in town or city environments. On the sea there is no such distractions around.. Everything you see and feel focuses back to oneself, to the core being of who you are. It can be confronting but in a gentle way. It cleans you up. The water allows you to let go. It’s more than words can describe having that experience of cleansing and oneness with all.

It might be harsh to say, but for me, when people don’t choose for the program retreats I get a picture of what their lives are about. It’s not a black or white judgmental thing, but more a range of possibilities.. Perceptions. I can tune in, become aware and perceive the energies. It’s a way of observation. Not a judgment. With the awareness about my guests or guests to be I can actually accommodate and facilitate them better tailored to where they are at.

The escape of getting on a ‘retreat’ while putting their heads in the sand is still a vacation… Not a retreat. Lol. Sorry to say, but that is a simple truth. So we call it Wellness Sailing Trips. And regard that respectfully as a great starting point to explore self-Awareness.

Any other of my wellness services offered onboard is an extra to book with the trip, they are optional choices from our list of possibilities. Great! These services can be actual tasters to more lasting choices. That’s because they are good. Really good. Very down to earth aka in-water (lol) and very beneficially palpable.

Usually 1 or 2 of these services are complementary and when the guests want more or move from group experience to individual private coaching it becomes an add on to purchase extra. It gives a fair chance to experience my way of working and interacting with you when it concerns professional coaching.

Starting with calming the mind, letting go of certain stuck energies and then the awareness expansion for mind and body, gives a jump-start into a new realm of sensing what’s going on with you and changing beliefs, biases and patterns of bevavior and or thinking. When we start to think we start to feel. But what if we turn to feeling first? Yes, that requires stillness of the mind and awareness of the body’s state… And then everything can change.

So, “Sail into Consciousness” embodies an essence, a true passion for life. Life without suffering, whether bodily or mentally. And as a bonus Creating one’s life from Consciousness is way easier and beneficial to each person’s heart desires.
